When it comes to quality easter eggs, the Wave Race series never disappoints.

So, some twenty years after Wave Race 64 was first released, here’s YouTube’s The Easter Egg Hunter showing some amazing ones from the Nintendo 64 classic.

Please Nintendo. A sequel for the new machine. It’s time.

Not a bad track record, it would seem. I never knew the DS outsold the Gameboy. This is from a while ago but I just came across it and it’s cool, so check it out.

I hope it’s not totally obvious, and this isn’t a list about what games could “save” the Wii U or anything like that, it’s just the games I’d really love to see on the platform.

I just came across this cool Youtube video about the Beta version of Mario Kart 64. I knew the game was originally known as Mario Kart R, (presumably the R stands for “rendered”) but I was interested to see a few other differences outlined by the guy who made the video. Mario Kart has been a staple in the Nintendo fan’s diet since the days of the Super Nintendo. There’s been four console iterations so far and every Mario Kart fan has their favourite. With Mario Kart 8 announced and on the way, I decided to play all the console versions again to weigh up their pros and cons, think about the legacy they leave, and decide which version is the best.
