Rusty_Shell_HOTHere’s my weekly post where I share cool and interesting gaming related stuff I found around the net.

First up this week it’s an amazing article from Nintendo Enthusiast’s Menashe. It’s an incredibly detailed and researched piece about the upcoming Smash Brothers games for 3DS and Wii U. Some great theories and backed up with evidence. Have a read of the lengthy but interesting article here.

Next up it’s Nintendo Insider informing us about attention seeking analyst Michael Pachter’s latest rant on what Nintendo are doing wrong. I really don’t like paying Michael Pachter any attention- I’m not sure why he has the status he does and I don’t really care- but in this instance I wanted to give a shout out to the website. Nintendo Insider is a UK based website that I’ve never come across before. They’re doing great work and are definitely worth checking out. I’ll be going back regularly. Read the article here.

Ryan Bates from gotgame.com writes an interesting piece on the top ten Mario Kart tracks ever. I’m a diehard Mario Kart fan, and I love these kinds of lists. While I can’t say I agree with his order, my favourite tracks are all there. Yoshi Valley should be number two and Coconut Mall number one, Ryan. Read the rest here.

Lastly, there was an interesting article by James Brightman from gamesindustry.biz about Nintendo and their digital future. The article raises questions (with more Michael Pachter, unfortunately) about how digital distribution affects Nintendo’s business and whether we’ll see their franchises on non Nintendo platforms. I hope not. Read the article here.
